It was one hell of a Winter...

And it's quickly shaping up to be one hell of a Spring!! Until today, there was some reason to be hopeful for a reasonable Spring.  While the temps were still on the cool side, I hadn't had to pump out water for 2 days!! Whoo Hoo! One side of the lawn was almost bare of snow and Duffy and I had played with the beach ball yesterday afternoon and had a great time.  Duffy was so happy to be able to sit on grass again. This is what it looked like 2 days ago.

This is what it looked like this afternoon--after 6 inches of snow and it was still coming down along with winds gusting to 50 kph. It might stop by midnight, but flurries are still expected.  Just when you thought you didn't have to drive around in 4 wheel drive any more!!

Snowy, wet Duffy--I think he's kind of done with snow, having seen grass again for a little while!!

Little snowballs attached to Duffy's legs!

This is really the winter without end! :((

We got about 10cm!! wet, heavy & yucky! Kort & Tate looked like Clydesdale horses they had so much snow attached to their feathers LOL!!

I agree, it HAS been the winter without an end - we've paid our dues and then some, but I believe that after yesterday we're now home free... for a few months anyways :)

I love the snow balls on Duffy's hocks. Very cute!! I guess I don't envy you with all the snow. We've had some rain lately, but it's really gorgeous here and suppose to be in the 80's by the end of the week. I guess California is popular for a lot of reasons.

The grass looks like all the states I went thru to Tulsa, except CA which was green.

We have had a really wet winter too. Lots of snow, and too much water. ugh. I really hope it warms up soon!
