August Laughs Across the Sky

And the garden grows with lots of heat, sunshine and too much humidity!!

The corn righted itself after being battered by the wind and rain a week and a half ago.  Soon we'll see ears developing!
In addition to the usual dark green zucchini, I tried a variety that's called a vegetable marrow--very light skin and thinner skinned than the other type.
The geraniums that I saved through the winter are in full bloom!
I can't believe how many blooms this pot of geraniums has!!  It loves the afternoon sun and the heat from being against the garage.

I think we are getting a little overwhelmed with the mosquitos right now and the humidity. It's hard to be outside and enjoy the warm days because we get attacked by those nasty 'sqeeters!! Poor Lanny suffers the most as they are attract to dark colors.
