What a difference in two weeks - now it's really spring :) Now if we'd only get some appreciable rain - I can't believe how dry we are. Your little cherry tree is adorable. I had to laugh at Stupor Store - I've been calling it that for years - I thought I was the only one! I really need to get to Canadian Tire before everything is picked over.Jane https://www.blogger.com/profile/05368686874403775974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5338619987513261239.post-47238097854238033502012-05-16T03:46:36.173-06:002012-05-16T03:46:36.173-06:00Glad this weather is making you happy. Spring r...Aw, sorry about the allergies and injury! Spring really is a miserable time of year for hay fever sufferers.

But your photos make it all worthwhile. I love the cherry tree. It looks like the one we used to have in the backyard of our old house.

And the tulips! Lovely!

We seem to get spring here twice a year. It's strange. The bulk of flowers and blooms are really in spring, from September to November, but then there's some plants (and trees) that seem to have a secondary fall blooming period as well. I've seen bottlebrushes blooming now (not as many or the same varieties that plague us in Sept.), but also a few Jacarandas blooming back in April too. Weird.

We're officially two weeks from the start of winter, according to the Aussies. Feels like it. Brrrr.JMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07633693109130292239noreply@blogger.com
